Welcome to the Phoenix Cricket Club. Established in 1830 and situated in Dublin’s Phoenix Park, Phoenix CC is the oldest and one of the most successful cricket clubs in Ireland.

This most beautiful of grounds boasts an historic pavilion, some of the best playing surfaces in Leinster cricket, full nets facilities, bar & dressing room areas and ample car parking. Whether you’re playing or spectating it’s a great place to spend your afternoon in the sunshine!!

Phoenix currently has four Men’s Teams, a Ladies Team, Youth Teams at all age groups and a very succesful Taverners squad.

Training Schedule 2010:

Mens:
1st  & 2nd X1 – Tuesday 6.30pm – 8.30pm
All Teams – Thursday 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Ladies:
Monday 6.30 – 8.30pm

Youths:
U9 & U11 Monday 4.30 – 6pm
U13, U15 & U17 Tuesday 4.30pm – 6pm

Taverners:
Yeah, not so much!!

Head coach Tony East is from Melbourne and boasts 25 years coaching experience at all levels including a successful spell at Victorian Sub District club Williamstown and 4 years at Premier Cricket Club South Melbourne, noted for it having produced more Australian Test captains than any other club in Australia. Most recently Tony was assistant coach at Footscray Edgewater Cricket Club.

Traditionally Phoenix has welcomed cricketers of all nationalities. The club currently boasts members from  South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, France and the United Kingdom as well as our own homegrown talent. The Youth section really is the heartbeat of the club now and we have a top class coaching team in place to develop the kids right through their cricket career.

Our Ground is located on the Main Road in the Phoenix Park, officially known as the Chesterfield Road. It is located opposite the Polo Grounds, on the left-hand side as you come from the city centre.
