This coming Saturday, August 24th, will see the unveiling of The Pasley End at Phoenix Cricket Club. After discussions between Aifric, the Pasley Family and the Executive Committee, we all feel that the renaming of Chesterfield Avenue end of the ground as The Pasley End is the most appropriate way for Graham to be remembered in the club. It was the end he liked to bowl from!
So at 3pm on the 24th, during the tea interval in the 5th XI game between Phoenix and Halverstown, there will be a small ceremony to unveil a plaque on the sightscreen in Graham’s memory.
Graham was liked and respected by not only his team and club mates but also those amongst the greater Leinster cricketing community. As he is fondly remembered by so many all are, of course, welcome to come along to attend.
