Phoenix Cricket Club is led by an executive committee, who are voted in by the members at a Club AGM, once a year (typically in November). We are always looking for more volunteers to help in informal roles around the club, so please get in touch if you are keen to help out.

The executive committee is supported by the work of individuals (who mainly don’t have time to commit to a committee!) and other sub committees, such as Youth, Fundraising and Sponsorship, and Child Protection.

Helen Caird: “My role as Club President is to be visible and attend as many club matches and functions as possible; to communicate to the whole club and get to know all the members and to listen to what they have to say and to let them know what’s going on within the club – also to communicate on behalf of the club with Cricket Leinster. I represent the club in the wider cricket community and beyond, and I provide oversight, to ensure that all areas of the club are functioning as smoothly as possible.”
